We are a Professional Staffing and Development Agency specifically dedicated to serving the unique needs of organizations and individuals specializing in Organ and Tissue Donation and Transplantation.
Life Giving Resources was born of both necessity and opportunity by siblings Shaun Bryant and Christina Marie Bryant.
Christina, a non-directed living donor herself, having dedicated her entire career to working, either on temporary assignment, or as a full-time employee of various OPO’s, has experienced first-hand the difficulties and challenges of both, and as a result has long felt the need for change, for something different, for something better…
Shaun, on the other hand, after spending the last 22 years owning and operating his own business, advising Fortune 500 Organizations on how to affect change and thrive, recognized the opportunity to collaborate with Christina and help her affect the needed change in her profession, to create something different, and provide something better by applying the same time tested and true principles he has taught to others. At Life Giving Resources, that vision becomes reality.
At Life Giving Resources we offer a full range of qualified staffing & professional development solutions to serve our Partnering OPO’s and Transplant Programs including…
Our (y¹) Core Value speaks to our belief that everything starts with “WHY”, because it’s WHY we do WHAT we do that drives us. It’s the passion behind our profession, and it represents our enduring faith in the Power of “One”¹ …
One¹ who understands and lives their “WHY”, to change the world for the better by blessing the lives of those around them, moment by moment… One¹ person, One¹ kind word, One¹ compassionate act at a time… (y¹).
Our k2 Core Value represents our belief that Knowledge Shared is Knowledge Squared (k2). It is our unyielding commitment to continuous improvement, both personally and professionally, through World Class Training and Education, as well as through our associations with one another. It stems from our fundamental belief that there is no Best, only BETTER… and learning is something we do, not something we did.
Our (e³) Core Value reflects our belief that everything matters exponentially. There are no little things. Everything we say and do has a ripple effect that impacts those around us, which in turn impacts those around them, and so on, and so on, and so on…
Therefore, (e³)…
Everything Matters EXPONENTIALLY.
At Life Giving Resources we recognize that an Organization’s Brand is both its reputation and most valuable asset, and you build a World Class Brand by doing the really hard things extraordinarily well… not once in a while, but consistently, every single time, without fail, no exceptions!
To quote the movie A League of Their Own “It’s supposed to be hard, if it wasn’t hard everyone would do it”…
It’s the “hard” that makes it GREAT!
Due to the unpredictable nature of our work, relentless time demands, and the highly specialized knowledge and skill required by our industry, OPOs (Organ Procurement Organizations) and Transplant Programs often encounter circumstances that stress what can be reasonably expected of administrators and full-time associates. As a result, these organizations continually strive to maximize performance, increase capacity, and improve efficiencies.
There are two ways of accomplishing those objectives. The first, and most important, is to improve the knowledge, capabilities, and expertise of your current full-time associates through professional training and skill development. The other is to leverage qualified temporary staffing resources for support as needed. At Life Giving Resources, we excel at helping you do both!
Unfortunately, past solutions have left much to be desired for the OPO, their team members, and those temporarily assigned to support them.
This could not have been made more evident than when a potential team member, upon approach, responded “I am not ready to delve back into the world of being a disposable traveler.”
No one should ever be made to feel “disposable”.
Temporary Staff Members do not want to feel isolated and alone. They want to feel they’re part of something bigger, part of a team with a shared purpose, vision, and mission. They want to feel supported while on assignment, they want to have someone they can turn to for help and direction when problems and challenges arise, and they want someone to have their back. They want to be treated with respect and have their hard work recognized and appreciated. And they want to be compensated in a timely fashion for the work they so diligently and tirelessly perform. They don’t want to have to worry about when, or even if, they will be paid for their efforts.
And it would be foolish to believe those things don’t impact performance.
We are committed to providing World Class Service, training, and staffing support to our Partnering OPO’s and Transplant Programs with unparalleled consistency, dependability, and professionalism. We do this by supporting our Team Members FIRST. We know that when we take World Class Care of our people, they in turn provide the World Class Service that we expect, and our clients deserve!
I worked very closely with my local OPO when I was in the hospital. Seeing the hope given to donor families and recipients every day is what drove me to pursue a career in the donation…
